BSC Trained Risk Assessment

British Safety Council (BSC) trained risk assessors

Risk assessment is now a part of everyday life within all business sectors. The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require every employer to make suitable and sufficient assessment of health and safety risks. At Pamper Cleaning Services we are proud to have to fully qualified Level 2 British Safety Council trained Risk Assessors who regularly maintain and monitor our working practices.

British Safety Council

The British Safety Council is a government-regulated awarding body and, as such, must comply with a wide range of conditions set by the regulator so that rigour and consistency in the awarding of qualifications is maintained.

They are the only UK awarding body to offer a complete suite of health and safety qualifications from Entry Level to Level 6 in the national framework.

History of the BSC

The British workplace is far safer than it was in the 1950s. No organisation has worked as tirelessly as the British Safety Council to make it that way.

The founder of the BSC, James Tye was an evangelical campaigner who helped transform the British way of life. His efforts led directly to the groundbreaking 1974 Health and Safety at Work Act, as well as to the introduction of car seat belts. As a direct result of the BSC excellent Health and Safety standards are now a legal requirement in every aspect of British life.

In 2004 the BSC became a government-regulated awarding organisation and have since developed a full suite of health and safety qualifications in the national framework. With their involvement in the Olympics, they were granted the official status of Supplier of health and safety training and consultancy services (ODA) to the London 2012 Games.

Their job is to help professionals achieve high standards; to protect both their staff and the future of their business.
